At Nepal Trekking Rengers, we strive to offer safe, ethical, and unforgettable trekking experiences in Nepal. To ensure a smooth booking process and mutual understanding, please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before confirming your trip.
1. Booking and Payment
- A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm your booking.
- The remaining 80% is payable before the trip starts (upon arrival or via transfer).
- We accept payments via bank transfer, online payment, or cash (transaction fees apply).
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- 20% deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellation ≥ 30 days before trip: 80% refund.
- Cancellation 15–29 days: 50% refund.
- Cancellation < 15 days: No refund.
- No refunds for early return, missed days, or unused services.
3. Trip Postponement
- Free postponement if requested ≥ 30 days in advance.
- Postponements within 30 days may incur rebooking/handling fees.
4. Travel Insurance
- Travel insurance is mandatory for all treks.
- Must cover high-altitude trekking, evacuation, medical emergencies, cancellations, and theft.
- Proof of insurance required before trip start.
5. Health and Safety
- Clients must be in good physical condition for trekking.
- Inform us of any medical conditions or allergies in advance.
- Our guides carry basic first aid; safety is a top priority.
6. Itinerary Changes
Trek itineraries may change due to weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or safety concerns. We reserve the right to modify the route for your wellbeing.
7. Passport and Visa
- Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the arrival date.
- Obtaining a Nepal entry visa is the client's responsibility.
8. Required Documentation
- Provide a copy of your passport, travel insurance, and emergency contact info before the trek begins.
9. Client Conduct
We expect respectful behavior toward guides, fellow trekkers, locals, and the environment. Disruptive conduct may lead to removal from the trek without refund.
10. Liability Disclaimer
- We are not liable for trip interruptions due to natural disasters, political unrest, or flight delays.
- We are not responsible for injury, illness, or loss during the trek (your insurance must cover this).
- We are not liable for lost or stolen items.
