Khare to Mera Peak Summit Route Information
After the acclimatization day in the Khare Village (5045 m), climbers head towards the Mera High Camp (5800 m). The starting phase of the trekking between Khare Village and Mera Base Camp is uphill through rocky boulders and it is the point that we start to feel the gigantic height of the mountain. The view of the Khare Village and the valleys looks spectacular while ascending. Beyond the Mera Base Camp, climbers have to use the crampons. The trail to the Mera High Camp is scenic and steep uphill through mass of snow.
